The KCS TraceME TM-2011 / P2A3E is a cost-efficient, yet solid solution for tracking and tracing a variety of non-powered movable assets.
The TM-2011 contains a tamper contact for fraud removal alert and is equipped with LoRa-based and FSK positioning, offering both indoor and outdoor traceability.
The optional robust IP68 housing, combined with more than 10 years of standby battery lifetime, enables the integration of TraceME into a variety of IoT applications.

What is the geolocation accuracy?
In LoRa based networks the outdoor geolocation accuracy of static devices is typically 50 meters and can be further improved (both indoor and outdoor) up to 1.5 meters by on-site RF localization. The RF localization is based on measuring the signal strength of 1-way FSK protocol. A special FSK-sniffer
with OLED display is available, please contact sales for details.
What is the weight of the module?
The module weighs 25 grams. The small internal components make the TraceME unit ideal for small asset tracking.
What are the connectivity options embedded in this TraceME device?

Is it possible to customize the TM-2011 / P2A3E firmware for our OEM needs?
All KCS TraceME hardware can be customized. From custom casing designs and I/O pin event programming, to tailor-made intelligent firmware behavior and extra sensors.
Can i have removal detection on this device?
The TM-2011 contains an flexible tamper contact. By using the original enclosure, the tamper contact
will stick out of the resin. The enclosure and tamper contact are being glued to the asset. When the
enclosure is (fraudly) removed from the protected asset, the tamper contact will be ripped apart,
resulting in a tamper alert.
How does the TM-2011 / P2A3E handle active data privacy and security?
TraceME hardware interfaces directly with secure infrastructure without third-party bottlenecks. It natively supports advanced device-side encryption protocols enabling private, fully sealed data routing. All of the necessary server-side scripts to process and store data from these units are available for
registered distributors and resellers. If you do not want to host data and maps yourself, you can use
the hosting services of one of our partner companies
Are firmware updates supported over-the-air (FOTA)?
Yes, TraceME units are designed with two-way communication supporting crucial FOTA (Firmware Over The Air). This means device behavior and security protocols can be seamlessly updated in the field without retrieval.
